If you use AT&T as your corporate wireless provider, you'll be happy to hear that the company plans to spend 2008 rolling out next-generation data services to areas that don't yet have service. In 2008, AT&T will bring 3G data service to 80 more cities, rounding out the list of the top 100 largest cities in the U.S. and the top 350 leading markets. What's more, the company plans to complete its HSUPA network by the middle of this year, which should boost upload speeds for data users significantly. In the long term, the company plans to continue upgrading its network infrastructure incrementally, with the long term goal of launching HSPA+ and LTE in the "years to come."
