Note that the device did NOT run on WiMAX. It was WiFi only at the show.

Not true. The demo at the show was with WiMAX connection provided by Sprint.

That's correct, we played with a number of different N810 devices running on Sprint's XOHM WiMAX network during the show. See the other pages in the slideshow for photos of the device connecting to the network.

can anyone tell me if it'll work on other wimax networks other than sprint? we just launched our own and i want to test it

I read elsewhere (Wired?) where the Wi-Max on the N810 is open but only works on 2.5GHz. If you set up your network at that frequency, the N810 should be able to connect.
