Documents to Go - best productivity apps
Documents to Go is self-explanatory. The app allows users to access and edit a variety of Microsoft Office documents from a mobile advice. Users can view, edit and create Word & Excel files. In the premium option, users can also view PDF, iWork, Text and .RTF, files and view, edit and create PowerPoint presentations. The view-only option might not be ideal, but it does allow users to hook up their device to an external display for presentations or view slides or content away from the desktop. Documents to Go also has support for Google Docs, Box.net, Dropbox, MobileMe iDisk and SugarSync files.
While Documents to Go is pricey, it currently also comes with a free copy of the desktop client which can sync with the app over Wi-Fi. There are other apps that package each file format editor separately, such as Pages for iOS. However, each of those apps has its own price tag.
However: Documents to Go is by far the priciest app on this list. The app also lacks printing support. Windows Phone users, on the other hand, have the option of using Microsoft Office branded apps.
