Acuity, Acxiom partner on mobile marketing
Wireless marketing technologies developer Acuity Mobile and customer and information management solutions provider Acxiom Corporation announced a joint mobile marketing solution integrating the latter firm's consumer data and behavioral analytics with the former's real-time, location-based mobile content delivery platform. Enabling mobile content delivery to targeted consumers based on time, context, location and user preferences, the partnership promises to deliver text offers and discounts at times when the customer may be more likely to capitalize on a particular marketing deal.
"Consumer opt-in, technology and consumer data will enable real-time, location-aware, user-targeted mobile marketing," said Acxiom travel, entertainment and media/communications exec Greg Hogue in a prepared statement. "As a result, we expect mobile marketing to grow significantly in adoption and acceptance moving forward. The partnership with Acuity Mobile further advances this trend by pairing two industry-leading companies who together can deliver relevant, timely offerings customized to the individual."
