CA's new Blackberry management tools

The IT discussion has moved beyond the question of whether you'll use a mobile platform like the Blackberry in your enterprise architecture. Now, the question is how best to manage a fleet of highly-mobile, significantly-limited devices. CA has answered the question with its MDM (Mobile Device Management) tool designed to unify security, data management, device management and more across multiple RIM servers. CA MDM will do automatic device discovery and keep the devices it finds up to date with both system and application code. It's a major step toward making sure that the high-end, multi-network Blackberry remains a valuable part of the total IT infrastructure.
