FierceMobileContent will live on as FierceMobileIT
All things must come to an end, and FierceMobileContent is no exception. Today's issue is its last as a standalone publication: Beginning Monday, Oct. 7, FierceMobileContent will merge with its sister publication, FierceMobileIT. The new publication will retain the FierceMobileIT brand, but its coverage will expand to focus on enterprise application development and deployment. With so many publishers and developers shifting their focus to the mobile enterprise segment--and with so many businesses of all shapes and sizes leveraging the mobile platform to interact with consumers and staffers--this is the right change at the right time.

I'll be contributing to FierceMobileIT over the next few weeks to help smooth the transition before moving on to a full-time role at Entrepreneur magazine. Before I go, I'd like to thank everyone who's read and supported FierceMobileContent over the years, as well as the members of the FierceMarkets staff, both past and present. Long may you run.--Jason
