Flirtomatic hooks up with MetroPCS
Mobile social networking solutions provider Flirtomatic announced an agreement with U.S. prepaid operator MetroPCS Wireless to launch its eponymous free service, which has already signed up more than 1.5 registered users in markets including the U.K., Germany and Australia. Flirtomatic enables users to meet and flirt via the mobile web--users purchase FlirtPoints and spend them by promoting themselves, finding out who has rated them, and by sending virtual gifts. Flirtomatic notes its mobile users log in around seven times and send more than 30 messages each day, translating to over 30 million messages and 160 million WAP pageviews per month--in addition, users sent more than 4 million virtual gifts last year.
