Mobile device management, or MDM, firm Good Technology unveiled on Tuesday a comprehensive mobile security and management platform aimed at enterprises grappling with BYOD.

The Good Security Mobility Solution platform integrates its Good Dynamics security mobility platform, Collaboration Suite and ecosystem of independent software vendor, and custom-developed, enterprise apps.

The new platform provides enterprises with the Good AppCentral app store, the ability to deploy and manage applications on both company-owned and employee-owned devices, and a suite of mobile applications and developer tools to help firms build and deploy custom applications to meet future requirements.

Good said its app-to-app tunneling encrypted tunneling technology enables IT to secure document and data sharing between apps.

"With the new product, we want to address our customer mobility needs with a one-stop solution for whatever maturity stage they are in," John Herrema, senior vice president of product management at Good, told FierceMobileIT.

"This offering combines all of the things a knowledge worker is going to need to get up and running, be productive, and be as collaborative as possible on day one, whether they are using a BYOD device or a company-owned device," Herrema explained.

In tandem with the Good Security Mobility Solution, Good announced the expansion of its Good Dynamics Marketplace, which provides enterprises with secure mobile business apps. The company has added mobile apps for remote desktop and app access, file synchronization, document management and signing, as well as mobile printing, the company related.

Finally, the firm released its Good for Enterprise for Windows Phone 8, part of the Good Collaboration Suite. The product supports Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) Exchange on-premise and cloud-based environments with Exchange Online through Office 365.

In its 2013 Magic Quadrant report on MDM vendors, Gartner named Good, along with AirWatch, Citrix (NASDAQ: CTXS), Fiberlink, MobileIron and SAP, as leaders in the market.
