With a recent report indicating how advanced Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) capabilities when it comes to integrating voice with data in the next five years, the issue of security will continue to dominate the 'to-do' list for tech leaders. That's a primary driver pushing vendors to launch new security services and tools for enterprises jumping on the VoIP network bandwagon. There's such a slew of new options it can be a bit arduous determining which security approach is best, however. The first wave of choices features security assessment tools, which allow network managers to analyze network system architecture, business continuity plans and policies.
