Infographic: Social marketers are going mobile
The social advertising market is projected to reach $11 billion by 2017--and mobile users will become an increasing target of those advertising dollars, according to an infographic by Unified Social.
More than three-fourths of US Facebook users are mobile and 41 percent of Facebook's revenue comes from mobile advertising. In addition, mobile advertising is one-quarter of YouTube's revenue.
Unified offers some mobile tips for social marketers: make sure pinned posts will be relevant to mobile Facebook visitors because the mobile view of the Facebook page displays pinned posts on top; double check that the content you post to a network looks good in the mobile feed; advertise content to mobile users that is fun to receive and to give; and make sure your links take users to mobile friendly pages.
