Further demonstrating the "consumerization" of the enterprise that everyone is talking about, JD Power and Associates recently said that Apple's iPhone ranked No. 1 in customer satisfaction for smartphones in business, beating out Research In Motion's BlackBerry.

The factors that determine satisfaction for business users include ease of operation, operating system, physical design, features and battery function. Out of a possible 1,000 points, Apple's iPhone scored 803 among business users in the JD Power survey. BlackBerry finished in second place with a score of 724. Following these top two were Samsung with a 697, HTC with a 692, and Palm with a score of 688.

Overall, consumer satisfaction with smartphones among business users has increased 43 points out of 1,000 from a year ago.
