Kobo Vox e-reader adds support for Google Play

E-reader manufacturer Kobo is adding support for the Google Play digital storefront to its Vox device. Users can now browse more than 500,000 Android applications as well as music and movies. Vox owners can also access core Google Mobile services like Gmail, YouTube and Maps for Android. Kobo is including the Google Play app in its newest Vox software update, available for download now. The company first released the seven-inch Vox unit in October 2011. Release
