LG launches QuickMemo social sharing app for Android
LG Electronics is rolling out QuickMemo, a stylus-free drawing and editing tool enabling Android smartphone users to personalize messages and share comments with a swipe of their finger.
Consumers can access LG QuickMemo to capture screenshots of any content, including maps, webpages and photos, then add handwritten messages and drawings using their finger. These customized screenshots may be shared via social media platforms, text message or email.
LG will launch QuickMemo on July 16 via the Viper 4G LTE smartphone, available from Sprint Nextel (NYSE:S). Consumers who have already purchased the device will be able to download QuickMemo as part of a software update through an on-screen prompt. The manufacturer plans to expand QuickMemo to additional smartphones later this year.
