Marketron acquires mobile ad network mSnap
Media-centric business software solutions and services provider Marketron acquired broadcast-based mobile advertising network mSnap, promising cable, radio and other media channels the tools to access new digital revenue streams and create more interactive programming. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. With the mSnap acquisition, Marketron will enable media clients to sell and fulfill both digital and traditional assets through a single, integrated platform, adding they can now offer advertisers and agencies bundled, cross-media offerings.
Marketron supplies traffic, digital, business intelligence and platform services to more than 7,000 media organizations--with the addition of mSnap, the firm will offer mobile ad services across a network spanning 30 million unique subscribers and 1,400 premium publishers, serving 250 million ad messages per month. Marketron adds it will conduct market-based workshops bringing together media outlets and advertisers to create and deliver more effective mobile campaigns.
