McAfee expands mobile-protection software WaveSecure to iPhone
McAfee expanded its mobile-data-protection software to include remote tracking, wipe and backup capabilities on the iPhone. The software, called WaveSecure, will become available through the iTunes App Store for $20 and will allow users to back up their contacts, photos and video and restore the data from McAfee's WaveSecure website. Using the software, users can track and locate a lost or stolen iPhone as long as the smartphone is connected to an operator or Wi-Fi network--even if GPS tracking has been turned off. Article
