Microsoft revs Windows CE for devices

The next version of Windows Embedded CE is coming soon, and with it Microsoft hopes to increase their presence in the mobile device marketplace. Microsoft says that the market for embedded enterprise devices will grow 26 percent each year between now and 2010, with the consumer market growing 50 percent each year in the same time. Microsoft has devoted an entire corporate center to embedded technology--it's obvious the market is a key target for the software publishing giant.
