MicroStrategy integrates Cloud Personal with Salesforce

MicroStrategy is rolling out a capability that integrates its data discovery offering with Salesforce so that customers can import data directly from their CRM systems and analyze it immediately. The Salesforce integration capability is one of more than 250 new updates that MicroStrategy just announced to its free in-memory data discovery offering, Cloud Personal. 

Cloud Personal users will now have secure access to their CRM data from within the MicroStrategy product. The data can be analyzed with all of Cloud Personal's capabilities, such as filtering using a drag-and-drop interface and drilling down to view the data from different perspectives. "MicroStrategy Cloud Personal makes it easy for Salesforce users to visually analyze their data in the cloud, such as sales opportunities, marketing campaigns, and call center activity," the company said in its announcement.

Other updates include improvements to the data discovery interface, such as new formatting alternatives and the option of a full-screen dashboard. "Our latest feature release delivers the power of visual analytics, reaffirming our commitment to deliver business intelligence to larger audiences," said Sanju Bansal, MicroStrategy's chief operating officer. "MicroStrategy Cloud Personal enriches the Salesforce user experience with advanced analytics, intuitive data discovery features, and mobile intelligence for insights on-the-go."
