NBC, Dove team on mobile entertainment portal for women
NBC Universal Digital Entertainment will team with Unilever's Dove personal wash brand to introduce Dove Good2Go, a new cross-platform mobile entertainment portal targeting the nation's roughly 34 million female smartphone users. Bringing together customized digital content from NBC.com, oxygen.com, bravotv.com, accesshollywood.com and iVillage, Dove Good2Go will feature video clips, interviews, how-to tips, advice and photo galleries alongside content from NBC primetime series like 30 Rock, Parks & Recreation and Friday Night Lights. Content will rotate on a consistent basis.
Dove will retain full ownership of the Good2Go mobile experience throughout the duration of its yearlong strategic partnership with NBC. Future plans call for the companies to launch an exclusive sweepstakes touting a customized prize package tied to users' favorite NBC Universal brands, highlighted by a trip to Los Angeles to a red carpet movie premiere with Access Hollywood and a New York City shopping spree courtesy of iVillage.
