New phones from Sony Ericsson
'Tis the season for new phone introductions, and Sony Ericsson gets into the season with a group of new phones that range from the very well-featured to the very basic. On the high end is the Walkman W860, a phone that comes with 8 GB internal memory, a PC-to-phone transfer and both a conventional keypad and 2.6-inch touch screen. For connectivity, the handset supports both WiFi and 3G. At the other end of the price/feature spectrum is the K530, a value-priced 3G handset that still includes RSS feed reception, push email, a camera, and (with additional hardware) GPS navigation. With these introductions, Sony Ericsson will compete with the latest devices from Motorola, Apple, HTC, and LG.
