As the Cingular name disappears from the corporate landscape, AT&T is easing customer grief with the first plan that allows cell subscribers to call both AT&T cell numbers and AT&T land-line numbers without charge. I for one would love to see Cingular become a name that fades away. They have tried to regain lost customers for years now with little success. Their arrogance, poor customer service, and other reasons why they have left a bad taste in many a mouth, including mine.
