Sports Illustrated adds Microsoft Tags to swimsuit issue

In the event you're looking for additional reasons to pick up the 2011 edition of Sports Illustrated's iconic Swimsuit Issue, here you go:  This year's issue incorporates Microsoft Tag mobile action codes giving smartphone users access to mobile videos and related interactive content. Developed in conjunction with mobile engagement solutions provider Nellymoser, the SI mobile campaign enables readers to vote for one of eight aspiring models competing for the opportunity to appear in the 2012 Swimsuit Issue, screen behind-the-scenes clips of all 17 models in this year's edition, share videos via Facebook, Twitter or e-mail and download the new Swimsuit Mobile App.

The 2011 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue is on newsstands now--to promote its launch, Microsoft Tags linked to mobile content will be placed on signs, subway posters and phone kiosks across New York City and Las Vegas. The tags connect consumers to a swimsuit body paint mobile video that can be shared with Facebook contacts.
