Spotlight: Caterpillar unveils Cat B15 rugged mobile phone

Caterpillar, an industrial equipment maker, has unveiled a new smartphone designed for the rigors of industrial users in North America. The new Cat B15 rugged smartphone, encased in silver anodized aluminum and rubber, can withstand a 5.9 foot drop and be submerged in up to 3.2 feet of water for 30 minutes. The 4-inch Gorilla Glass touchscreen can be used with wet fingers and is dust and scratch resistant. The $349 smartphone runs on the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system and has a dual-core 1GHz processor. Bullitt Mobile is the global licensee of the Cat phone. Read more
