Taiwan's Foxconn, the maker of Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) iPhones, has received orders to make smartphones for Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) and Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN), the Taiwanese news site DigiTimes is reporting. The smartphones are expected to hit the market in mid-2013, according to sources quoted by the publication. Foxconn officials declined to comment.
