Samsung Spinpoint M7 hard disk drive for rugged storage
Samsung is making inroads in the storage arena. Besides unveiling the world's first hardware-based encrypting SSD last week, Samsung has introduced the Spinpoint M7 hard disk drive for laptops. The RoHS complaint device comes with a rugged base and cover design, and is rated with a shock tolerance of 400 G/2ms.
