Telcogames buys Fathammer, sells X-Forge

Mobile games publisher/developer Telcogames has acquired Finnish mobile games developer Fathammer, which will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company. The deal also sees the sale of Fathammer's X-Forge middleware solution to an unnamed third party. Fathammer launched in 2000 and is noted for its 3D mobile phone games as well as for being an early supporter of the Gizmondo portable. Telcogames had already been distributing games through Fathammer in Korea and China via the company's contracts with SKT, KTF and Digital Red. Telcogames plans to start distributing Fathammer's games immediately through carriers, off-portal and retail channels.
