Think about security in new ways

Bill Gates is a man who must be heard. When he brings his chief research and strategy officer to the podium to talk about security, attention must be paid. Together the two said that the world of information security has changed, and will continue to change--and that too few IT managers have changed with it. As a meaningful network perimeter has disappeared, it has become ever more important to protect the devices that live within the network--whether they're the servers in the center or the mobile platforms that live beyond the firewall.
