Wireless Voice over Internet Protocol (wVoIP) is still a huge dream on a whiteboard, but the promise of such telecommunications is being seen in the first wave of products to hit the market. One is D-Link's DPH-540, which is being viewed as the first WiFi flip type of phone that works via a wireless Internet connection. But it isn't quite ready for the business enterprise as yet since it doesn't let users authenticate hotspots.
