Roughly a month after Apple introduced its iPad tablet, male users outnumber females by a two to one ratio, according to digital services giant Yahoo. While men make up 51 percent of all Yahoo users in the U.S., they represent 66 percent of iPad users on the Yahoo network--in addition, the first wave of Yahoo users on the iPad is 94 percent more likely to boast solid wealth and strong incomes than the average U.S. Yahoo user.

Yahoo notes that the vast majority of iPad users fall between the ages of 30 and 54, with a decided preference for finance, sports and news information, and reports that Flickr usage is 143 percent higher than average. Yahoo adds that 48 percent of iPad users on its network own an iPhone and had previously visited its network via their Apple smartphone.
