Youth snatches laptop from man in Starbucks

Corey Kinney, a 19-year-old youth went into a Starbucks in Bradenton, Florida, and asked to borrow a laptop to check his Facebook page one day. When he was told that he could not, he pretended to walk away, then swiveled around, snatched the laptop, and ran. Unfortunately for him--and fortunately for the owner--Kinney was tackled by two bystanders at the parking lot, who held him down until the arrival of a security guard.

While some sites mocked Kinney's "need" to check his Facebook account, I personally think that it is just part of a plan to conveniently place a laptop into his hands. Indeed, Kinney was reported to have told a deputy that "he just wanted to do a crime that did not hurt anyone." Apparently, he needed money to get back to Texas, and "thought it would be easy to grab a laptop from someone at Starbucks." In the meantime, Kinney was charged with "Robbery by sudden snatching."

Based on the re-sale value of used laptops, he probably would need to snatch another laptop at a Starbucks in Alabama.

Where's the post to Facebook button for this? I may commit a crime if I can't post it quickly. Help.

Oh no you don't, I'm attaching my laptop to my wrist with a pair of handcuffs from now on.
